Mr Stelios Myriknas made a lasting impression on me through the care he gave my wife during her pregnancy. He brought a sense of calm and confidence to every appointment, which meant a great deal to both of us. He was thoughtful, attentive and always willing to listen, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about my wife’s wellbeing rather than simply treating her as another patient. As her husband, I was especially grateful for the reassurance he gave us during such an important and emotional time. His knowledge, professionalism and kindness helped us feel secure from beginning to end. I cannot express enough gratitude for Dr. Stelios. This was the first time in my life that I experienced a doctor genuinely caring about me and my wellbeing, not just the medical side of things. When my wish for a natural birth turned into an emergency C-section after a long labor, Dr. Stelios guided us through it with incredible care. He explained what was happening and why decisions needed to be made and made sure we felt involved every step of the way. Even though it was not the birth I had planned, I am so grateful that I was under care of such a brilliant doctor because we felt safe, informed and very well looked after. I would also add that it really stood out for us how highly everyone at the hospital spoke of Stelios. It was obvious how much respect his colleagues have for him, which made us feel even more confident that we were in the best hands. Mr Myriknas went above and beyond his duty to ensure I was cared for during my second pregnancy (planned C-section). His advice was sensible and delivered in a most caring and empathetic manner. He observed and monitored concerns from my first pregnancy which may not otherwise have been attended to. My husband and I were always greeted with exceptional warmth at his clinic (in particular on the occasions we had our two year old toddler joining also!). He truly cares for his patients and I would highly recommend his service to any expectant mother.

A truly excellent doctor and surgeon who deserves more stars than the five I can give here. Mr Myriknas displayed such skill, calmness, warmth and compassion during both a fetal heart rate monitoring appointment and Caesarean section he performed that I feel so unbelievably fortunate to have been under his care. It was quite incredible how little blood I lost during the procedure, and am incredibly impressed by the neatness and size of my incision wound. I am so grateful to him. He also followed up with me after the procedure, which was incredibly lovely and something I think can be quite rare in this day and age. I would recommend Mr Myriknas to anyone - the medical world would be a better place if more doctors and surgeons were like him. I just hope if and when I have a second child that I can be under his care again - it would be the biggest pleasure ever.

I came under Mr Myriknas’ care at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital after developing complications during my pregnancy, and from our very first appointment he was very attentive, kind, reassuring and compassionate. During what was a stressful and uncertain time, he consistently made me feel that I was in safe hands and gave me confidence that everything was being carefully monitored and managed. Mr Myriknas was always exceptionally responsive and prompt in addressing my questions and concerns, no matter how small. He took the time to explain things clearly, provide reassurance, and ensure that I felt informed and supported throughout my care. His professionalism, expertise and calm approach gave me enormous peace of mind. When I was later admitted to hospital, he came to see me to check on me, regularly followed up, offered advice whenever needed, and was always available when I had concerns. Mr Myriknas is not only a highly experienced and knowledgeable obstetrician, but also a truly caring doctor who goes above and beyond for his patients. I am incredibly grateful for the care, support and kindness he showed throughout my pregnancy, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for outstanding obstetric care.

I cannot recommend Dr. Stelios highly enough. From the moment I met him, throughout my delivery, and recovery, I felt completely safe, supported, and cared for. My delivery was via C-section, and while naturally I was focused on the health and wellbeing of my baby, what truly stood out was the exceptional care Dr. Stelios showed me as a mother. Before the surgery, he took the time to explain every step, answer every question, and reassure me and my husband with patience and kindness. His calm and confident manner immediately put me at ease during what was a very emotional and significant moment in my life. Dr. Stelios demonstrated incredible professionalism and skill, ensuring both my baby and I were well cared for throughout. What impressed me most, however, was the care he provided after the birth. He didn't simply deliver my baby and move on, he continued to check on my recovery, monitor my wellbeing, and ensure I was healing both physically and emotionally even after I was discharged. As a first-time mother, that level of support meant the world to me. He treated me not just as a patient, but as a person, showing genuine compassion, empathy, and dedication at every stage. The arrival of my baby is one of the most important moments of my life, and I will always be grateful to Dr. Stelios for making the experience such a positive one. Going into a high risk pregnancy, I was naturally nervous and concerned about how it would progress after a stressful first pregnancy and early delivery. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience - Stelios was instantly very understanding and provided a huge amount of support, ensuring no stone was left unturned and ultimately helping us achieve a full term pregnancy and happy healthy new arrival.

Stelios supported us in our second pregnancy following a stillbirth at 26 weeks. His desire for continuity of care with him made all the difference to us in a anxious and nervous time.

I required a caesarean birth because my baby was in the breech position. Stelios was really warm and kind. He offered me a scan on the day to check if my baby had turned the right way around before the surgery. He listened to my birth preferences (delayed cord cutting and skin to skin) and my preferences were respected. I am sure this contributed to the success we have had with breastfeeding and my baby seems very healthy. My incision is also healing well, I did not have any infection or complications and we were able to go home after just staying for one night in the hospital, which I am very grateful for.

I wish to commend Mr Stelios Myriknas for his exceptional professionalism and pioneering approach during the delivery of my daughter. After over 48 hours of active labour without progression beyond 9.5 cm dilation, Mr Myriknas employed an innovative forceps technique that required no additional intervention-remarkably eliminating the need for an episiotomy. His clinical expertise was evident throughout, but what truly distinguished his care was his calm, reassuring presence during a highly challenging situation. This composure, combined with his advanced skill set, ensured a safe and positive outcome that I firmly believe would have been very different without his involvement. Mr Stelios Myriknas exemplifies the highest standards of obstetric practice: technical excellence, innovation, and unwavering patient-centered care. I hold his work in the highest regard and consider his contribution to my birth experience nothing short of outstanding.

My wife Anastasia and I had the privilege of being looked after by Dr. Stelios Myriknas throughout her pregnancy at West Middlesex University Hospital, and we could not have asked for a better doctor. Dr. Myriknas went above and beyond at every stage, not only monitoring my wife and our unborn baby with exceptional professionalism and attention to detail but also showing incredible compassion and care. He immediately identified potential life-threatening risks during the pregnancy and took swift, decisive action that made all the difference for both mother and baby.
